FilmEU WIRE Seminal Funding
Provide small seed funding for student pilot projects for coming up with digital solutions to tackle the five Horizon Missions. The yearly call will follow seminal funding will only cover mobility not the research activities in themselves in view of increasing sense of community and knowledge sharing. Results of seminal projects will be included in the yearly WIRE exhibition
FilmEU+ Seed Funding
New clusters will involve groupings of its staff and students across the participating institutions (all institutions including new members, ensuring full engagement across the knowledge square).
FilmEU WIRE Seed Funding
The pilots support four main objectives: the incorporation of
our joint research agenda by all partners and in particular
those in widening countries; the emergence of joint research
teams integrating senior and young researchers from all
partners; the joint exploitation of infrastructures for
research; the integration of mobility and the knowledge
transfer to members in widening countries.
FilmEU+ and FilmEU WIRE
The COEs correspond to joint interinstitutional structures
supporting a joint group of experts working on a concrete
challenge in view of joint and transformative management
models. Each COE will focus on innovation and knowledge
transfer; they will develop and implement a clear plan and
strategy for collaboration, dissemination, and sustainability.
DOCTUS
DOCTUS is a doctoral training program structured as a yearly
seminar series. These seminars draw from the ongoing
artistic research endeavors within FilmEU. Pioneering
practitioners in artistic research can impart their insights
and knowledge to incoming PhD candidates in innovative
research domains.
INNOVATION CHALLENGE
The Innovation challenge builds on the principles laid out in
the FilmEU Innovation plan in view of fostering innovative
proposals that build on artistic research and innovative
explorations of film and media uses and affordances. The
challenge can be presented by teams integrating teachers or
researchers and students at any level and should include a
clear presentation of the challenge to address and the
proposed innovative approach based on the use of the
FilmEU toolkit dimensions and domains of innovation.
